    • Planting time to harvest:
    • In general, ball radishes are usually ready to harvest approximately 25 to 35 days after planting.

      • Soil and climate:
    • Radishes prefer loose, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Regarding the climate, they are resistant plants and develop better in cool and temperate climates. The ideal temperature for its growth ranges between 10°C and 20°C.
    • Humidity:
    • Radish prefers an environment with moderate and constant humidity, but it is important to avoid excess water to avoid root rot problems.

      • Sowing and germination:
    • Ball radish seeds are sown directly into the ground, as they do not tolerate transplanting very well. You should sow the seeds at a depth of approximately 1 cm and at a distance of 2-5 cm between each seed. Germination usually occurs in 4 to 7 days, depending on environmental conditions.

      • Crop:
    • While growing, be sure to keep the soil moist but not soggy. Regular watering is essential, especially during dry periods. It is also important to eliminate weeds that compete with the radishes for nutrients and space. Fortunately, radishes are not usually attacked by many pests or diseases, making them easier to grow.

      • Harvest:
    • Ball radishes are ready to be harvested when their roots reach a suitable size and their skin has fully developed. You can harvest them by gently pulling on the green leaves and removing the roots from the soil. Harvesting is usually done 3 to 4 weeks after sowing.
