Frequent questions

ARE THEY TRANSGENIC SEEDS?

Our seeds ARE NOT TRANSGENIC . For more information REFER TO OUR BLOG WHAT ARE TRANSGENIC SEEDS

HOW LONG DO SEEDS TAKE TO GERMINATE?

Germination times may vary depending on the type of plant and the climate, soil and humidity conditions of the environment and the substrate used for germination. Under normal conditions it may take from 6 to 30 days to germinate although there are seeds that can take up to 60 days. It is very important that once the seeds are planted, the soil or substrate is kept moist at all times.

HOW MANY SEEDS DOES EACH ENVELOPE BRING?

We adjust the contents so that all envelopes have the same price, which results in the fact that NOT ALL ENVELOPES BRING THE SAME AMOUNT OF SEEDS, this is because NOT ALL SEEDS HAVE THE SAME COST.

We sell the seed per gram, not per unit, so the amount of seeds contained in each envelope is variable depending on the cost of the seed (enough for a family garden since each seed is a plant).

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?

Normally it takes 1 to 3 days depending on whether you make the purchase in Full or conventionally on any of the Mercado Libre portals and Mercado Shops

DO THEY HAVE TO BE FORCEDLY SOWN IN THE FIELD?

NO EXTENSIVE SURFACES OR PLOTS ARE REQUIRED FOR SOWING
They can be sown in a seedbed or seedbed (special container for germinating seeds) and then transplanted either in a planter, pot or directly into the ground.

IS IT DIFFICULT TO SOW AND GROW VEGETABLES?

It is actually very easy to make the seeds germinate but to achieve optimal results follow the instructions that come inside the packaging and additionally visit our blog at https://hortyjardin.com/blog where you will find an excellent planting guide and advice that will guide you to make your planting a success.

WHY DID SOME SEEDS NOT GERMINATE?

Before putting our product on sale we check the germination of each batch of seeds, therefore ALL SEEDS SHOULD GERMINATE IF THE SOWING INSTRUCTIONS ARE FOLLOWED. During the germination period, the sown should not be exposed to adverse weather conditions, which is why in many cases it is strongly recommended to sow first in a seedbed. On the blog https://hortyjardin.com/blog we have an exclusive entry dedicated to seedbeds or seedbeds to understand their importance.

Likewise, some seeds are sown directly into the ground without having to be sown first in a seed bed, such as Las Habas, El Maíz, Los Betabeles, etc.

WARRANTY
We guarantee the content and germanization in all our seeds, the harvest depends on the planting conditions, climate, temperature, humidity; such factors that are not under our control.

AT WHAT DEPTH SHOULD THE SEEDS BE SOWN?

There is a rule that from experience always works since sowing the seed too deep runs the risk of it drowning.

It should be sown at a maximum of twice the size of the seed in question. That is, if for example we sow radish seed that measures about 3 mm each seed then it should go to a maximum of 6 mm deep; If it were broad beans, each seed measures about 2.5 cm, so it should be sown 5 cm deep and so will the other seeds.
