Pak Choi Seeds

Pak choi, also known as bok choy, is an oriental vegetable related to cabbage that is growing in popularity every day. Its leaves can be added chopped to salads or cooked, sautéed or steamed (leaves and stalks alike).

 This vegetable grows best in cool, partly shaded locations, although it can handle full sun. It needs around 3 to 5 hours of sun a day. The plants are chard-like, with round, dark green or purple leaves. Its stalks are usually white or green, similar to those of celery, but less fibrous. Its height can be 25-50cm and 15-30cm wide. The flowers are yellow with four petals coming out of a central stem that can measure up to twice the length of the plant. Depending on the variety, the days to harvest range from 45 to 60 days.
