Seeds of Purple Epazote

Also known as pazote. Perennial herbaceous plant of Mexican origin. It grows up to 50 cm tall, its leaves are dark green, elongated with jagged edges. It adapts to warm, semi-warm, dry and temperate climates. It blooms in the rainy season and its flowers are cream or yellow in color that come out of the branches where the leaves are. Its smell is very characteristic, slightly spicy.

 Traditionally its leaves have been used as a seasoning in many Mexican dishes and as a natural medicine.
